About Chauncyne McHoward

The founder behind C Kinion Design

I’m Chauncyne McHoward, founder of C Kinion Design. I design strategic WordPress websites for business owners who want clarity, credibility, and a site that actually supports how they work.

Since launching C Kinion Design in May 2016, I’ve worked with entrepreneurs, professionals, and service-based founders to create websites that communicate clearly, build trust, and grow alongside their business. My work sits at the intersection of structure and intention — thoughtful design, clear messaging, and systems that feel manageable rather than overwhelming.

As a solo entrepreneur and homeschooling mother, I understand the realities of building a business with limited time, real responsibilities, and the need for decisions that make sense long-term. Every project I take on is approached with care, clarity, and respect for both your business goals and your capacity.

My Background and How It Shapes My Work

My professional foundation began in technology and systems. I earned an Associate’s Degree in Network Engineering and spent years working as a Financial Controller, accountant, and tax practitioner. That experience shaped how I think — structured, detail-oriented, and focused on translating complexity into practical action.

In 2014, I began designing websites as a freelancer. By 2016, C Kinion Design was established, and WordPress became the platform through which I helped business owners bring clarity to their online presence. Over time, it became clear that a website is never just a set of pages. It’s a decision-making tool. It communicates trust, direction, and professionalism long before a conversation ever happens.

Life also required me to navigate caregiving, loss, and rebuilding while continuing to run my business. Those years reinforced something I carry into every project now: businesses don’t need more pressure. They need clarity, structure, and steady support.

Today, my work blends technical expertise, strategic thinking, and thoughtful design. I use modern tools and systems where they make sense, always grounded in human judgment, clear communication, and practical outcomes.

Why I Work With Business Owners Like You

I work best with business owners who want their website to feel clear, honest, and supportive — not performative or overcomplicated.

Many of my clients are building between real responsibilities. They don’t need hype or trends. They need a website that explains what they do, builds confidence with the right audience, and gives them a stable foundation to grow from.

My role is not to push or persuade. It’s to help you see your business clearly, translate that clarity into structure and design, and create a website that does its job quietly and effectively.

What Working Together Looks Like

Our work begins with clarity. We define what you actually need right now, what your website should support, and what can wait.

From there, structure and messaging are shaped intentionally. Pages are organized for ease, navigation is simplified, and design choices are made to support trust and readability — not distraction.

When your site launches, you’ll understand how it works, how to use it, and how it supports your business. If you choose ongoing support, your website continues to be cared for so you’re not managing it alone.

What You Can Expect

You can expect clear communication, thoughtful decisions, and a process that respects your time. You’ll gain a website that feels professional and grounded, messaging that reflects your work accurately, and a digital presence that supports where your business is going — not where it used to be.
